Counselling is coping orientated and focuses on understanding and healing emotional trauma and pain carried through from past experiences and events. A counsellor or psychotherapist will help you to recognise how you feel and help you to develop coping strategies so that you can move forward.
I aim to support women through challenging situations and life stages and use my collected skills to offer the best route forward, whether that's counselling, CBT, coaching, or a mixture of all, to give you the best outcomes and tools and daily habits that you can take with you in to the next chapter of your life. Sessions are tailored to you and your therapy goals and go at a pace that you're comfortable with.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy that helps people manage problems by changing their thoughts and behaviours. It's based on the idea that thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are closely linked and influence each other.
CBT aims to help people identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and learn to approach problems in a different way. CBT is problem-oriented and focuses on working through specific, current problems.
We would start with a 30-minute free online consultation to discuss your situation. It's also our chance to see how we feel we'd work together, and for you to decide if you're ready to get started. We'll then agree a way forward and schedule our weekly sessions.
After that, your weekly sessions will be around 45 minutes long, ideally held at the same time/day each week to give you consistency. Sessions are held via Zoom and are completely confidential. If you struggle with technology, don't worry, we'll figure out a way that works for you that isn't stressful!
Sessions are relaxed, safe and calming. I do not judge, or make assumptions - I'm here to listen, support and guide you towards a place where you feel heard, lighter, brighter and optimistic about the future x
